The Manchester United star was withdrawn at half-time at Wembley after a particularly below-par performance as Iago Aspas replaced him
Juan Mata has come in for criticism for his display in Spain's draw with England.
The Manchester United star was withdrawn at half-time at Wembley after a particularly below-par performance.
Mata was replaced by Iago Aspas, who got Spain back in it before fellow substitute Isco's equaliser.
But Marca were not impressed with Mata's 45 minutes, reports the Manchester Evening News.
After much deliberation, the Spanish paper decided not to award the 28-year-old a mark for his performance.

It was a better night for Mata's United team-mate Ander Herrera, who made his international debut as a second-half substitute for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
He tweeted after the game: "I will never forget this night."
Adam Lallana and Jamie Vardy gave England a two-goal lead before Aspas and Isco scored late goals to earn Spain a draw.
