JUAN MATA TWEETS ABOUT HIS ABSURD FIFA 18 GOAL CELEBRATION

GIVEMESPORT  -  Dov Rawson
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is far from impressed with EA Sports after someone tweeted him celebrating a goal on FIFA 18.

The 29-year-old Spaniard joined the Red Devils from Chelsea in 2014 after famously falling out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

Many expected Mata to be one of Mourinho's first casualties but the diminutive number 10 has dug in and proved his worth since being substituted in the 2016 Community Shield despite coming on as a substitute.

“When I came here, people thought Mata was in trouble but I knew he wouldn’t be in trouble,” said Mourinho earlier in 2017. “One thing was the football I wanted my Chelsea to play and the other thing I want my Manchester United to play.

“Mata has adapted to the football I want to play. I knew since the beginning he would be an important player.
“I think he feels that confidence in me, that confidence in the game we want to try to play. So, he is happy. He is happy on the pitch and you can see it the way he plays.”

The former Valencia and Chelsea star has played under three different managers at Manchester United but has built an incredible rapport with the Old Trafford supporters.

Mata's funny FIFA 18 celebration

One fan on social media tweeted Mata a short video featuring the little Spaniard celebrating a goal alongside Paul Pogba on FIFA 18.

The Frenchman, currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, was seen leading Mata in his notorious 'dab' celebration.

The Spanish international has started in six of the opening seven Premier League games of the season, scoring the opener in last weekend's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.

"It was good for me I have been a bit unlucky in some games," said Mata. "I was trying to score my first goal of the season and I did today and I am very happy and hopefully this season I can reach double figures again.

"It was a good team play and Marcus curved the ball back and I always try to be in the box to find these kind of balls but the most important thing was the timing of the goal and the moment of the goal because it makes things easier for us."

Manchester United have failed to win one game this season, drawing 2-2 away at Stoke - it was the only game which Mata was not in the starting XI.
